Dr. Masina Wright is an expert in regenerative and restorative health and Internal Medicine. They are a nonbinary physician, working both in hospital medicine in New Mexico and practicing outpatient Internal Medicine and cardiology in downtown Toronto.
As a leader in the field of Integrative Medicine, Dr. Wright brings Naturopathic wisdom to the science of Internal Medicine. Trained to understand the intricacies of modern health, she is sophisticated yet intuitive in her approach, cutting edge and yet traditional. She works with people of all genders seeking an illusive sense of health and well-being.
Dr. Wright spent the first eleven years of her career in Toronto serving a diverse, urban population as a licensed Naturopathic Doctor. She was clinic faculty at her alma mater, the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine for over 5 years. Dr. Wright moved to Maine in 2011, joining Dr. Bedecs and the Age Management Center team. She has studied with the best teachers in the field of anti-aging medicine and LGBT health, and is current with the most innovative and personalized programs for optimal hormone performance.
In 2019 they went to medical school as a second career and completed their degree at the University of New England in Maine. Residency in Albuquerque, New Mexico and IM Fellowship at the University of New Mexico and Raymond G Murphy VA , where Masina fell in love with the culture and practice of hospital medicine.
Dr Wright has a clinical practice in Downtown Toronto as of June 2024 practicing internal medicine with a focus on the heart and cardiac health. Their love of cardiology includes treatment of difficult to manage hypertension, congestive heart failure, goals of care conversations, and coronary arterial disease for all genders. When not seeing patients, Dr. Wright is the Chair of the Nutrition Committee for the American Medical Women’s Association as well as the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Officer for ACP Ontario, an Internal Medicine physician group.
